Abstarct: Abstract In this research, calcium silicate tobermerite (Tbm) substrate was used due to its porous structure, high surface area, low density and abundance of raw materials. Then the prepared substrate was functionalized with 3-trimethoxysilane propylamine and salicylaldehyde and it was coordinated with copper mextal. The compounds were characherized by different techniques X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray energy spectroscopy (EDX). Then it was used as a heterogeneous catalyst in the photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue (MB) in the presence of H2O2 under the Fenton reaction. As another part of this research, the phenozazinone synthase-like activity of the prepared compound was studied in the presence of ortho-aminophenol (OAP) as a substrate for the aerobic oxidation of OAP to 2-amino-3H phenozazinone-3-ene (APX).
